1
00:00:02,628 --> 00:00:03,628
You know Marshal...

2
00:00:05,214 --> 00:00:07,340
reminds me of the dog that
I had it once...

3
00:00:07,841 --> 00:00:09,300
It was half white...

4
00:00:09,801 --> 00:00:11,010
when he got older...

5
00:00:11,428 --> 00:00:13,012
It was already a bit yellow.

6
00:00:13,012 --> 00:00:14,514
Are you following me Marshal?

7
00:00:16,433 --> 00:00:18,017
I don't want to withdraw
against you Lacey.

8
00:00:18,519 --> 00:00:20,520
You don't need to tell me,
Marshal

9
00:00:21,313 --> 00:00:23,105
I can see that.

10
00:00:25,400 --> 00:00:27,401
I'm going to have to kill him
one way or another.

11
00:00:28,403 --> 00:00:30,321
And if so, you can withdraw.

12
00:00:35,321 --> 00:00:39,521
THE MAN OF LAW

13
00:00:39,915 --> 00:00:42,416
Starring John Russell
as Marshal Dan Troop

14
00:00:44,711 --> 00:00:47,213
and Peter Brown as Deputy
Johnny McKay

15
00:00:51,221 --> 00:00:54,129
Produced by Warner Bross

16
00:00:57,306 --> 00:01:02,147
S01Ep01 "The Delegate"

17
00:01:32,634 --> 00:01:33,926
Too far to get to
city?

18
00:01:34,636 --> 00:01:36,220
Just after the next
hill.

19
00:01:39,224 --> 00:01:40,725
Did you miss something?

20
00:01:40,725 --> 00:01:42,018
I was just looking.

21
00:01:49,818 --> 00:01:51,402
I was wondering what
happened to Sam.

22
00:01:55,324 --> 00:01:56,532
Did you meet him?

23
00:01:56,532 --> 00:01:58,117
Sam Blake?

24
00:01:58,910 --> 00:02:00,411
Very good.

25
00:02:00,829 --> 00:02:02,913
Well, they hanged him for stealing
horses.

26
00:02:04,625 --> 00:02:06,834
Yes, that is one way
to break the habit.

27
00:02:09,421 --> 00:02:11,130
A relative?

28
00:02:12,424 --> 00:02:13,341
A friend.

29
00:02:14,134 --> 00:02:16,218
a good and true friend.

30
00:02:16,720 --> 00:02:18,929
It seems like this is a city
Too tough for lawmen.

31
00:02:20,140 --> 00:02:22,224
Too tough for thieves
horses, sir.

32
00:03:26,415 --> 00:03:28,416
I'm not a guardian
very good.

33
00:03:47,436 --> 00:03:49,019
Hello Mr. Troop.

34
00:03:49,312 --> 00:03:50,604
I'm Tom Fight.

35
00:03:50,604 --> 00:03:53,023
speaking on behalf of the Council
from the city..."welcome"

36
00:03:53,023 --> 00:03:54,958
This is Carl Shoemaker,...

37
00:03:54,958 --> 00:03:56,527
with whom I maintained the greatest
part of the Correspondence

38
00:03:57,320 --> 00:03:59,739
We came to open the door.

39
00:04:00,824 --> 00:04:01,907
I opened it myself.

40
00:04:01,907 --> 00:04:03,701
We will send a man to
fix it.

41
00:04:03,701 --> 00:04:06,120
Well, send a man with a
broom too.

42
00:04:06,830 --> 00:04:08,330
You will want these things.

43
00:04:11,209 --> 00:04:12,209
Well, I...

44
00:04:12,209 --> 00:04:14,336
I imagine that people from
Aveline were...

45
00:04:14,336 --> 00:04:16,505
disappointed when you
Said he was coming.

46
00:04:17,007 --> 00:04:18,632
Well, they learned to
hide your emotions.

47
00:04:21,136 --> 00:04:25,306
Being surprised by a problem
when problems die.

48
00:04:25,306 --> 00:04:27,808
oh, you won't find this
ungrateful city.

49
00:04:28,602 --> 00:04:30,728
I want my gratitude
win a lot...

50
00:04:30,728 --> 00:04:32,521
that can be deducted from
nearest bank.

51
00:04:32,821 --> 00:04:35,733
It wasn't easy to give advice
pay a figure like yours.

53
00:04:35,733 --> 00:04:37,234
But Carl and I support him.

54
00:04:37,234 --> 00:04:39,111
We don't mind paying
for the best.

55
00:04:40,238 --> 00:04:41,530
As long as we can.

56
00:04:43,033 --> 00:04:45,326
We have no intention of
interfere Marshal, but...

57
00:04:45,911 --> 00:04:49,330
the board has ideas as well
different from what we want,...

58
00:04:49,330 --> 00:04:52,833
but we decide how we want
let the city be run.

59
00:04:52,833 --> 00:04:54,502
mainly we want a
city where our...

60
00:04:54,502 --> 00:04:57,630
wives and children do not have
afraid to walk on the sidewalks,...

61
00:04:57,630 --> 00:04:59,340
Do you think you can give us that?

62
00:05:01,218 --> 00:05:02,927
Make them fix this
door.

63
00:05:07,641 --> 00:05:08,808
Eh... of course, of course.

64
00:05:08,808 --> 00:05:10,518
Let's get it fixed,
Marshal.

65
00:05:11,520 --> 00:05:13,437
You just come see us if...

66
00:05:13,437 --> 00:05:14,814
something bothers you.

67
00:05:14,814 --> 00:05:16,941
- oh, there is one thing.
- Yes?

68
00:05:16,941 --> 00:05:18,901
Who killed David Lemp?

69
00:05:28,411 --> 00:05:29,912
you may remember Lemp.

70
00:05:29,912 --> 00:05:31,413
L.E.M.P.

71
00:05:42,717 --> 00:05:44,301
He was his last Marshal.

72
00:05:44,301 --> 00:05:45,511
We don't know.

73
00:05:48,014 --> 00:05:50,140
It was a long time ago,
and something already concluded that...

74
00:05:50,140 --> 00:05:51,308
I don't see that...

75
00:05:51,308 --> 00:05:53,227
A city marshal was
murdered

76
00:05:53,227 --> 00:05:57,022
and unless something is done,
marked by a bad habit.

77
00:05:58,023 --> 00:06:00,025
Get out of here!
Skirt!

78
00:06:00,527 --> 00:06:02,027
He belongs here,
It's right there.

79
00:06:02,027 --> 00:06:03,320
Do you like cats...?

80
00:06:03,320 --> 00:06:05,114
Why not,
they are independent...

81
00:06:05,114 --> 00:06:06,407
They don't ask for any favors...

82
00:06:08,410 --> 00:06:09,827
they can even catch mice.

83
00:06:10,412 --> 00:06:12,204
If you don't rub yourself against
wrong way.

84
00:06:37,439 --> 00:06:38,606
How about Marshal?

85
00:06:41,818 --> 00:06:42,902
What can I do for you?

86
00:06:42,902 --> 00:06:44,528
I would like to put up a poster.

87
00:06:45,322 --> 00:06:47,031
Help yourself. There's plenty of wall.

88
00:07:07,218 --> 00:07:10,136
DELEGATE WANTED
Report to Dan Troop, Marshal

89
00:07:12,640 --> 00:07:13,018
Good guys,...

90
00:07:13,020 --> 00:07:15,985
looks like we got a new one
"Tell me what to do and what not"

91
00:07:16,018 --> 00:07:18,520
And...what will it be this time?
Marshal?

92
00:07:18,520 --> 00:07:20,606
"Check your weapons in
charity meetings"

93
00:07:20,606 --> 00:07:22,733
and "don't put gum on Sundays"

94
00:07:23,526 --> 00:07:25,854
It's funny how these men
The law comes and goes, but...

95
00:07:25,854 --> 00:07:27,904
cities follow exactly
equal.

96
00:07:31,999 --> 00:07:33,414
"Dan Troop"

97
00:07:33,912 --> 00:07:35,704
Tell me: Won't you be the same
Dan Troop...

98
00:07:35,704 --> 00:07:38,707
who had a great reputation there
in Kansas...I mean...

99
00:07:38,707 --> 00:07:40,125
10 to 12 years ago?

100
00:07:40,418 --> 00:07:42,127
I've been to Kansas.

101
00:07:43,338 --> 00:07:45,214
And you need a man
that covers your back?

102
00:07:45,214 --> 00:07:47,007
such a famous shooter
like you?

103
00:07:47,717 --> 00:07:49,009
That's what it says.

104
00:07:49,009 --> 00:07:52,011
- One thing irritates me...
- Yes?

105
00:07:52,806 --> 00:07:54,807
Who will cover the back of the
your delegate?

107
00:07:58,937 --> 00:08:01,605
Since I'm new here, everyone
You have the right to make a mistake.

108
00:08:03,525 --> 00:08:04,900
You just committed yours.

109
00:08:07,237 --> 00:08:08,404
Shall we make it complete?

110
00:08:08,404 --> 00:08:10,239
Go home and sleep until it passes
the shit.

111
00:08:10,239 --> 00:08:12,533
if any of you are men
suitable for the work of Delegate...

112
00:08:12,533 --> 00:08:14,535
Wait a minute, you and me
We're not done yet.

113
00:08:14,535 --> 00:08:16,912
Yes, we're done,
told him to go home.

114
00:08:16,912 --> 00:08:18,831
Don't you know who I am?

115
00:08:20,041 --> 00:08:20,624
Yes.

116
00:08:21,418 --> 00:08:22,835
So far I haven't been in one
city...

117
00:08:22,835 --> 00:08:24,458
where I didn't have to bump into
someone who...

118
00:08:24,458 --> 00:08:26,505
think it really was
really hard.

119
00:08:26,505 --> 00:08:27,840
You are the one.

120
00:08:43,940 --> 00:08:44,940
Take it Walt.

121
00:08:51,031 --> 00:08:51,822
Let's go.

122
00:09:02,500 --> 00:09:03,417
that's enough.

123
00:09:03,417 --> 00:09:04,710
-Flynt!
- Get out of here.

124
00:09:30,403 --> 00:09:32,237
This troublemaker was
Walt Hawks,...

125
00:09:32,237 --> 00:09:34,740
the other was Lacey Hawks,
and I'm Flynn Hanks.

126
00:09:36,826 --> 00:09:39,328
If you have problems with one of us,
has problems with everyone.

127
00:09:41,331 --> 00:09:42,706
Just wanted you to know.

128
00:09:52,717 --> 00:09:54,802
For work I pay 50 per month

129
00:09:56,137 --> 00:09:59,431
I would be happy to speak with
someone with some experience.

130
00:10:13,905 --> 00:10:18,325
"GOOD FOOD" new administration
Mrs. D.L.Lemp

131
00:10:27,335 --> 00:10:28,335
Mrs. Lemp.

132
00:10:29,003 --> 00:10:30,337
Dinner will be ready...

133
00:10:30,922 --> 00:10:32,923
Oh, what can I do for you,
Marshal?

134
00:10:33,716 --> 00:10:35,008
My name is Dan Troop

135
00:10:35,426 --> 00:10:36,218
I...

136
00:10:37,720 --> 00:10:39,638
your husband left some
things...

137
00:10:39,638 --> 00:10:40,722
in the office.

138
00:10:44,811 --> 00:10:46,812
I was once a "June bride"
Marshal.

139
00:10:47,730 --> 00:10:49,314
It is assumed that he should be
lucky, no?

140
00:10:55,613 --> 00:10:58,031
It's not much because it's life
whole of a man.

141
00:10:58,408 --> 00:11:00,012
Your husband didn't have the opportunity
to live your whole life,

142
00:11:00,012 --> 00:11:01,535
Mrs. Lemp.

143
00:11:04,414 --> 00:11:07,207
What makes a man follow
work like yours, Marshal?

144
00:11:07,207 --> 00:11:08,834
Someone has to do it.

145
00:11:09,502 --> 00:11:12,504
As soon as you go out one day with a
clean blue shirt...

146
00:11:12,504 --> 00:11:15,340
and then someone comes and leaves him
dead on the porch.

147
00:11:15,340 --> 00:11:17,217
And that's all?

148
00:11:17,719 --> 00:11:19,803
It's an occupation of work,
Mrs. Lemp.

149
00:11:20,930 --> 00:11:21,722
Hello Mrs.. Lemp.

150
00:11:24,017 --> 00:11:25,809
Sorry I'm late, okay?

151
00:11:26,436 --> 00:11:29,104
Marshal Troop, this is Johnny
Mackay, he helps me and...

152
00:11:29,104 --> 00:11:30,314
We already know each other.

153
00:11:30,314 --> 00:11:32,816
Sorry over there on the hill,
Marshal.

154
00:11:32,816 --> 00:11:33,817
It was nothing.

155
00:11:35,820 --> 00:11:37,112
Thanks again,
Mrs. Lemp.

156
00:11:45,413 --> 00:11:47,922
- Is that Dan Troop?
- Yes.

157
00:11:48,833 --> 00:11:50,500
You know I almost called him
horse thief?

158
00:12:01,512 --> 00:12:02,721
Delegate wanted.

159
00:12:10,939 --> 00:12:11,605
Marshal.

160
00:12:12,440 --> 00:12:13,232
Yes?

161
00:12:13,232 --> 00:12:14,900
Well, I saw the poster outside.

162
00:12:16,027 --> 00:12:17,236
And what about that?

163
00:12:18,238 --> 00:12:19,321
Well, the poster...

164
00:12:19,906 --> 00:12:21,114
Well, I thought...

165
00:12:22,825 --> 00:12:24,201
I want the job.

166
00:12:28,039 --> 00:12:29,122
What do you think, Mr. Troop?

167
00:12:30,125 --> 00:12:31,917
- No.
- Why?

168
00:12:32,919 --> 00:12:35,003
It's because I work part time
in an inn, or...

169
00:12:35,003 --> 00:12:37,839
Does it occur to you that my fellow countrymen
Don't they take me seriously?

170
00:12:37,839 --> 00:12:40,634
No. I myself worked in a
inn at your age.

171
00:12:41,302 --> 00:12:42,427
But then why?

172
00:12:42,427 --> 00:12:44,304
Were you looking for a
Delegate, no?

173
00:12:44,304 --> 00:12:47,808
Yes...someone who has ears
on the back of the ears.

174
00:12:50,436 --> 00:12:51,937
Pass me that gun oil.

175
00:12:56,609 --> 00:12:58,402
Olive oil, "olive oil"

176
00:13:04,409 --> 00:13:06,410
Why do you want to be one?
lawman?

177
00:13:07,120 --> 00:13:09,538
Should have a couple of cows
dis-pairing.

178
00:13:10,832 --> 00:13:13,917
Then there would be a beautiful ranch
and perhaps a wife and children.

179
00:13:13,917 --> 00:13:15,335
Why do you want this?

180
00:13:16,921 --> 00:13:19,006
I'm not made to be
rancher, Marshal.

181
00:13:20,425 --> 00:13:21,717
The way I see it...

182
00:13:22,427 --> 00:13:24,478
there are two ways
what a man...

183
00:13:24,478 --> 00:13:25,721
can get something:

184
00:13:26,639 --> 00:13:28,015
the path you took
 "Billy the Kid",...

185
00:13:30,727 --> 00:13:31,727
and "your" path.

186
00:13:33,021 --> 00:13:34,938
Well,...it's not a bad life

187
00:13:35,523 --> 00:13:38,025
If you don't mind cleaning
one of these every day...

188
00:13:38,609 --> 00:13:42,112
and not knowing whether to use it or whether
someone will use it against you.

189
00:13:42,112 --> 00:13:44,531
Nor will it have much of
social life,

190
00:13:44,531 --> 00:13:46,908
not being invited to parties and
these things.

191
00:13:47,910 --> 00:13:49,911
People naturally
they intimidate and leave...

192
00:13:49,911 --> 00:13:52,205
before a professional gunman
with or without plate.

193
00:13:53,708 --> 00:13:55,258
The only time it makes you
popular is when a...

194
00:13:55,258 --> 00:13:57,919
drunk cowboy starts to
shoot things.

195
00:13:57,919 --> 00:14:00,505
And this is a party that
they will avoid you.

196
00:14:01,924 --> 00:14:03,717
And from the side that things
are going...

197
00:14:03,717 --> 00:14:06,011
there is little chance that
any lawman...

198
00:14:06,011 --> 00:14:09,139
blow out 40 candles on your cake
birthday.

199
00:14:10,933 --> 00:14:12,809
Well, after all it isn't
a bad life...

200
00:14:13,811 --> 00:14:15,228
having what is necessary to
accept it.

201
00:14:15,938 --> 00:14:17,230
I can accept Marshal.

202
00:14:17,607 --> 00:14:19,024
I can't accept it.

203
00:14:20,234 --> 00:14:23,028
You wouldn't last a week,
Now go back to the inn.

204
00:14:33,623 --> 00:14:35,123
Well, anyway,
Marshall,...

205
00:14:35,123 --> 00:14:37,334
If you are looking for the man who
killed Dave...

206
00:14:37,919 --> 00:14:39,336
It was Flynn Hawks.

207
00:14:41,130 --> 00:14:42,339
Who saw him?

208
00:14:42,339 --> 00:14:43,632
Half the city.

209
00:15:19,919 --> 00:15:21,211
Where can I find
Flynn Hawks?

210
00:15:25,133 --> 00:15:26,716
I'm looking for Flynn Hawks.

211
00:15:28,511 --> 00:15:31,221
Is there someone here with courage
enough to tell me?

212
00:15:33,141 --> 00:15:35,016
Someone mention the name of
my brother?

213
00:15:43,401 --> 00:15:44,734
I asked a question.

214
00:15:44,734 --> 00:15:46,528
Where is Flynn?

215
00:15:46,528 --> 00:15:48,405
And why don't you find out?
yourself?

216
00:15:48,405 --> 00:15:49,906
I'm doing this.

217
00:15:56,831 --> 00:15:59,499
Well, you'll have to go through
get on me first, Marshal.

218
00:16:05,923 --> 00:16:07,340
And what's the problem, eh?

219
00:16:08,426 --> 00:16:10,302
You look a little green
around the eyes.

220
00:16:12,638 --> 00:16:13,805
Come on Marshal.

221
00:16:14,640 --> 00:16:16,099
Why don't you get it, eh?

222
00:16:17,602 --> 00:16:19,603
I will give you the opportunity to
move first.

223
00:16:19,979 --> 00:16:21,021
I make this very clear to you...

224
00:16:21,021 --> 00:16:23,940
if I have to fight with you
whole family...

225
00:16:23,940 --> 00:16:25,025
I will do it.

226
00:16:25,025 --> 00:16:27,110
So come on, what are you waiting for?

227
00:16:27,110 --> 00:16:28,411
It's not your turn yet.

228
00:16:33,701 --> 00:16:34,701
You know Marshal...

229
00:16:36,204 --> 00:16:38,330
reminds me of the dog that
I had it once...

230
00:16:38,330 --> 00:16:40,415
born white...

231
00:16:40,415 --> 00:16:41,917
when he got older...

232
00:16:41,917 --> 00:16:44,002
it was already yellow.

233
00:16:44,002 --> 00:16:45,420
you are following me,
Marshal?

234
00:16:47,423 --> 00:16:49,633
I don't want to take advantage of you,
Lacey.

235
00:16:49,633 --> 00:16:51,801
You don't need to tell me,
Marshal.

236
00:16:52,220 --> 00:16:54,137
I can see that.

237
00:16:56,516 --> 00:16:58,517
I'm going to have to kill him
one way or another.

238
00:16:59,435 --> 00:17:01,311
Then you can withdraw.

239
00:17:01,311 --> 00:17:03,939
I don't duel against boys.

240
00:17:07,818 --> 00:17:09,611
You're stuck, boy.

241
00:17:16,702 --> 00:17:18,119
What are you going to take, Marshal?

242
00:17:18,412 --> 00:17:20,205
A couple of sandwiches,
I'm on duty.

243
00:17:20,205 --> 00:17:21,540
Is cold okay?

244
00:17:21,540 --> 00:17:22,999
whatever,
as long as it's quick.

245
00:17:28,130 --> 00:17:30,215
You are a stubborn man,
no Marshal?

246
00:17:31,008 --> 00:17:33,218
Want to stay here, it doesn't matter
whatever, correct?

247
00:17:33,999 --> 00:17:35,813
If not here, it would be in
another place like it.

248
00:17:36,639 --> 00:17:38,515
I don't think I will ever
understand you.

249
00:17:38,933 --> 00:17:40,100
Understand what?

250
00:17:40,100 --> 00:17:42,120
Why would a man take one
I work like this...

251
00:17:42,120 --> 00:17:43,228
when you have no chance.

252
00:17:43,604 --> 00:17:45,021
What keeps you going?

253
00:17:50,528 --> 00:17:52,547
maybe because a long time ago,
I met someone...

254
00:17:52,547 --> 00:17:54,239
who was killed in a city
like this...

255
00:17:55,032 --> 00:17:57,117
by a stray bullet in a
senseless shooting.

256
00:17:58,035 --> 00:17:59,911
It must have been someone very
special.

257
00:18:01,622 --> 00:18:02,706
She was.

258
00:18:04,125 --> 00:18:05,417
It's looking pretty, eh?

259
00:18:06,836 --> 00:18:09,212
A man must die with
your best shirt.

260
00:18:10,923 --> 00:18:13,008
the gravedigger saves himself from having to put
her later.

261
00:18:28,524 --> 00:18:29,441
Marshal...

262
00:18:29,441 --> 00:18:32,027
Why don't you hide your tail and
Does it go out the back door?

263
00:18:33,613 --> 00:18:34,904
I won't tell anyone.

264
00:18:36,532 --> 00:18:38,120
You'll never see the day when
you can face...

265
00:18:38,120 --> 00:18:39,534
my brother Flynn.

266
00:18:40,703 --> 00:18:41,703
Not just...

267
00:18:42,413 --> 00:18:43,830
much less Flynn and Walt
together.

268
00:19:00,306 --> 00:19:01,514
What happened Marshal?

269
00:19:03,809 --> 00:19:06,436
you are a little strange
Now that you're old?

270
00:19:07,021 --> 00:19:08,813
Do you know what I would do if
were you?

271
00:19:12,735 --> 00:19:14,736
Not wise enough
to knock on the door?

272
00:19:14,736 --> 00:19:16,321
Now where are your
manners, boy?

273
00:19:16,321 --> 00:19:18,615
You know you almost made your head fly
head?

274
00:19:20,701 --> 00:19:23,411
Come on, the Marshal is a little
nervous now, aren't you Marshal?

275
00:19:25,414 --> 00:19:26,915
Just keep your mouth shut,
son...

276
00:19:26,915 --> 00:19:29,334
From now on,
just keep it closed.

277
00:19:34,840 --> 00:19:37,217
Well, I just came to let you know that
They're already here Marshal.

278
00:19:38,803 --> 00:19:39,511
Where?

279
00:19:39,511 --> 00:19:41,429
They just stopped at the stable
from the library.

280
00:19:43,724 --> 00:19:45,225
Marshal, it will be 2 against 1.

281
00:19:45,225 --> 00:19:47,227
- The best thing is to get out of here.
- Marshal, you're going to need help!

282
00:19:48,604 --> 00:19:51,106
Don't you think that taking care of
Hawks brothers will be...

283
00:19:51,106 --> 00:19:53,233
problem and take care of you by
my side too?

284
00:19:53,233 --> 00:19:54,526
Get out of here...

285
00:19:54,526 --> 00:19:55,819
through the back door.

286
00:21:05,014 --> 00:21:06,431
Throw your weapons Flynn,...

287
00:21:06,431 --> 00:21:07,807
are arrested.

288
00:21:07,807 --> 00:21:10,018
Any...special reason?

289
00:21:10,603 --> 00:21:12,228
For the murder of
David Lemp.

290
00:21:16,108 --> 00:21:18,735
You're obstinate, Marshal.

291
00:21:20,404 --> 00:21:21,321
Marshal...

292
00:21:22,406 --> 00:21:24,240
you only have a minute to
free Lacey.

293
00:21:25,910 --> 00:21:27,410
the minutes pass quickly.

294
00:21:33,334 --> 00:21:35,126
I say there is only
30 seconds.

295
00:22:05,533 --> 00:22:07,033
It can only take one of us.

296
00:22:08,327 --> 00:22:10,411
It's your last chance,
Marshal.

297
00:23:11,012 --> 00:23:16,214
THE MAN OF LAW

298
00:23:16,437 --> 00:23:21,104
S01Ep01 "The Delegate"

299
00:23:24,214 --> 00:25:12,258
Subtitles: Jair Paim
